About me

I build what I market

My name is Armands Blumbergs - clients call me Armando. My path to websites isn't standard: I started on the business side. For eight years I ran my own consulting company, writing business plans and financial analyses that secured EU-fund financing and bank loans for companies. Before that I evaluated investment projects at the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and led its marketing. I hold an MBA and an SSE Riga education.

Then I deliberately moved to the technical side: I learned web development, SEO and analytics, and spent a year in fintech with Python and bank API integrations. Now both sides are connected: I read your business as a consultant and build your site as a developer.

Frequently asked questions

I work in stages so that you do not carry all the risk at once. (1) Business analysis, SEO structure, content and design. (2) Technical development, during which the content and design are refined. After each stage you see a concrete result and decide whether to continue - if circumstances change, the collaboration can stop, and the work you have already paid for remains yours.

A custom one-page site usually takes 2-4 weeks from the moment I have received the information about your business. WordPress projects are similar, depending on the number of sections. The timeline depends on how quickly we communicate: the sooner I receive answers and approvals, the sooner the site is online.

At the start - a 50% advance covering business analysis, SEO, content and design. 25% when technical development begins, and the remaining 25% before the site goes live. Invoices are issued for each stage.

You do. Hosting and the domain are registered in your name - you pay the provider directly. I set everything up and, by agreement, administer it.

With the WordPress solution - yes, with training. With the custom solution I make the changes, and experience shows most clients prefer it that way - writing to me is faster than learning a system.

The site does not stay unattended. The care plan covers technical updates and content changes (1h per month). Optionally, a quarterly report can be prepared in plain language - how many people came, where from, and what they did. Without a care plan, changes are billed at an hourly rate / a prepaid block of hours.

No - and no honest specialist does. What I guarantee is a technically correct SEO foundation and full transparency: GA4 and Search Console from day one, so you can see the results yourself.

I do not reduce the price, but we can adjust the scope. If the budget is smaller, we can start with less work - it will affect the result, and I will tell you that honestly during our conversation. In certain cases, such as children's or non-profit organisations, I consider the situation individually.

For €300 you get a template. My price includes business analysis, SEO structure, all the copy, design and analytics - that is weeks of work, not a few hours. A website is an investment that has to pay for itself in new customers. If what you need right now is simply a business card online, I will tell you honestly and point you to a cheaper solution.
